Whitleigh Cook- Owner and Director
Whitleigh began dancing at the age of 6 in the Charlotte area. Her training consisted of competitive and convention style education traveling throughout NC and the country for continued education. With her competitive training, she won several scholarships to Steps on Broadway, Joffrey Ballet, Luigi's Dance Center, and Harlequin Dance Floors along with several awards from many dance competitions as a young dancer. Whitleigh also participated in the various levels of Miss Dance of North Carolina where she received several awards. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Dance in May 2010. Whitleigh is a member and past ambassador of the Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce, judge for regional and National Dance Competitions, as well as local pageants, Choreographer for the Audrey Kell High School Dance Team, is a Women Inspiring Strength and Hope Society Member in the Make A Wish Chapter of Charlotte, and an Elevate Lifestyle Magazine Top 30 Under 30 Future Leader of Charlotte for 2017, 2021 Tina Ross Leadership Award for Community Involvement for Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce, 2023 50 Most Dynamic Women for Matthews Mint Hill Weekly. Whitleigh was a 2 year veteran and Super Bowl NFL Cheerleader for the Carolina Panthers. Whitleigh is certified to teach through Dance Masters of America, Inc. and Board Member for the Southern Council Chapter of Dance Masters America, Inc.
Emma Tucker- Instructor
Emma grew up in Mint Hill and spent just under a decade as a student at MHDC. She graduated from Independence High School and went on to study at Appalachian State University. Emma spent many years studying and performing in all styles with Hip Hop and Acro being the styles she excelled at the most. Emma has many awards under her belt from being a competitive dancer including, but not limited to overall awards, judges awards, studio excellence awards. Emma choreographed an award winning hip hop routine for our competitive team 2023 and we are so happy to have her back for the summer of 2024.
Brooke Revels- Instructor and Office Staff
Brooke grew up in Indian Trail, North Carolina and is currently a rising senior at Porter Ridge High School. Brooke is highly involved at Porter Ridge with leadership roles as well as academically being in at the top of her class. She volunteers on many levels with Make A Wish of Central and Western NC as well as many other charities in the area. She has attended Mint Hill Dance Center for the past ten years and has been a part of the company team for the past nine. Brooke has participated in various dance styles, with her favorite being hip hop. Brooke has received many awards and honors from her time on the team including, overall awards, judges awards, scholarships, studio excellence awards, and highest scores of the day. Brooke cannot wait to meet plenty of new faces and hopes to share her love of dance this fall of 2024!

Kendall, Brooke, and Addison are our wonderful office staff. If you ever need a question answered or assistance with anything studio related, these young women are our backbone during classes.
Blue- MHDC Mascot
Lil Charlie Blue hangs out in the MHDC office greeting dancers and families with his symphony of barking, endless kisses, and wagging tail. Feel free to give him love at any time.
